With the German premiere of Le Margherite, Potsdamer Tanztage 2026 opens and sets the tone for the festival: a poetic yet playful piece about chance, community, and transience. The opening production is emblematic of a festival that brings together artistic diversity, physical intensity, and social issues. From 26 May to 7 June, Potsdamer Tanztage 2026 will present eight German premieres, an extensive stage programme featuring 13 international productions, as well as a wide-ranging accompanying programme with 36 workshops, 7 concerts, and two films.
With 5,000 to 8,000 visitors each year, Potsdamer Tanztage is one of the largest dance festivals in Germany. A particular strength of the festival is its close connection with the audience – made possible by the most extensive workshop programme of any dance festival in Germany, numerous talks with the artists, and the diversity of performance venues.
Tip 1: The festival pass grants access to all performances for 90 € (red. 45 €)!
Tip 2: Those who register for the workshops by 12 April benefit from early bird prices.
