Afro Dance

Afro dance is an invitation to both body and mind to learn about the diversity and enrichment of dance on the African continent through African and folk dances of the black diaspora.
The class will begin with a warm-up technique based on Germaine Acogny's modern African dance technique, and participants will then immerse themselves in traditional rhythms and movements from Brazil, Togo, Benin, Mali and Senegal. The class is an invitation to anyone who wants to work on rhythm in a lively and creative way while maintaining contact with the rich African culture.
