Proximity can be exciting, disturbing or stimulating at the same time. With dance, visual art, performance, music and literature, the fabrik Potsdam and the Kunstraum invite the audience to get up close and personal - sometimes in a microcosm, sometimes in oversized installations or at the bottom of relationships and social systems.
Proximity is also a theme that runs through the artists' works. KOSMOKÖRPER takes us on a journey through the organism and builds a bridge to the exhibition TRANSPORÖS. In the latter, the boundaries between the inside and the outside become blurred. Relationshifts explores the different facets of a relationship and Celebrations for the Funeral of Capitalism scrutinise us, our society and what holds us together. The reading Verlassene Nester reflects the experiences of a girl in search of security shortly after the fall of the wall...
