Dress warmly now... This year, the festival Made in Potsdam will take place indoors and outdoors. As every year, fabrik Potsdam and Kunstraum present productions and works by artists who are connected to Potsdam and the Brandenburg region, who live and work here or who were guests as artists-in-residence for a short time. What is special this year is that the works and forms of presentation can largely be experienced as a walk - films on billboards, exhibitions indoors and outdoors, projections on buildings and objects.
KOMBINAT presents eight empty theatres of the city of Potsdam in the film installation Kunstpause on monitors. The different theatre and concert spaces are shown, as empty and mysterious as they are right now. In these rooms, those who usually act in the background become visible.
The artists' association Alleestraße 10 / Potsdam presents paintings and silkscreen prints by Jeanette Niebelschütz, Kim Konrad, Anne-Katrin Fermann and Uwe Westendorf in the Kunstraum.
Sabine Zahn & Andrea Keiz show a documentation of the urban space performance Fremdgehen, which took place in the context of the Tanztage 2020.
Oscar Loeser, Martine Pisani & Theo Kooijman present a film installation on their projects As Far As The Eye Can Hear.
In her installation Maren Strack focuses on the movement of objects.
Body prints created as part of Yasmeen Godder's lockdown project I'm Here are presented outside.
Experiencing the programme is free of charge and freely accessible. The Made in Potsdam team and selected artists additionally offer personal guided tours in mini-groups to gain a special insight into the works.
The final programme will be published until mid-December.
