From a fusion of Qi Gong and Tai-Chi, Master Hsiung Wei from Taiwan developed Tai-Chi Dao-Yin. This technique aims directly at harmonising the inner body energy - called Qi in Chinese - and making it flow. Chiang-Mei Wang teaches exercises that stretch muscles, tendons and joints, open inner spaces and release blockages. The goals are deep relaxation and the harmonisation of movement and breathing. Tai-Chi Dao-Yin works like a massage from within and creates the conditions for a natural flow of energy.

For over ten years, Chiang-Mei Wang was a solo dancer at the Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan, Asia’s leading modern dance company. During that time, she also worked intensely with master Wei Shong in Taiwan and received her official tai-chi dao-yin teaching license in 2002. Ever since, she has been teaching this technique in Europe.
