with Josephine Haas & Stefan Crainic (New-York/Cluj-Napoca)

21 – 25 May 2024 | Potsdamer Tanztage 2024Dance and movement#Physical #Multi-Disciplinary

The Human Animal workshop explores the essence of humanity at the intersection of athleticism and art. It transcends disciplinary boundaries by integrating dance, martial arts, and athletics for improved body awareness, joint articulation, and coordination. Open to diverse backgrounds, it encourages a playful journey of self-improvement and collaboration. Stefan Crainic's path to movement, sparked by music and swimming, led him to the Fighting Monkey practise. As a Capoeira instructor, he teaches dynamics and acrobatics. A native New Yorker Josephine Haas studied at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and pursued further studies at the State University of New York, among others. Now based in Berlin, she collaborates with diverse artists while performing her own work.
