Islands of the Future

Islands of the Future is a festival organised by Schiffbauergasse with events at fabrik Potsdam, T-Werk, Hans-Otto-Theater, museum Fluxus+, Theaterschiff and Waschhaus, this year under the motto ‘Discover Deceleration’. Deceleration is the deliberate slowing down of life, a development or an activity. Terms used in this context are relaxation, hesitation, attention. These terms form a landscape of meaning that focuses on certain characteristics of artistic creation, presentation and mediation. Everyone is invited to discover these islands through performances, workshops, music and other formats!
