Does hope help us to shape other visions of the future? Or does hope block us and leave us hanging in a kind of passive holding pattern? In our society and in its state of upheaval, both hope and the inverse hopelessness play a central role. In a movable scaffold, divided horizontally by a net of safety belts, four dancers reside on different levels in the room. The stage is both playground, safety net and cage. Hanging in the net, lying on it, pulling yourself up on it, but also falling through the net. A spatial horizon line, a classic image of hope - only that this horizon can be stretched and deformed.
