Para Lia

Para Lia plays melodic, guitar-heavy, driving indie rock. After uploading their first songs to Soundcloud, the band self-released their debut album Soap Bubble Dreams in 2019, quickly building up a small, loyal fan base and enjoying radio airplay on indie stations from Germany to the USA. This led to guest musicians from the USA, the UK and Canada appearing on their second album Gone With The Flow. New York painter Louis Renzoni, whose works have already been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, also stumbled across their music. ‘You paint in the same colours as I do,’ he wrote them in an enthusiastic email.  With their third album, In Clash With The Zeitgeist, Para Lia knit their musical cosmos a little more colourfully and freely, and in line with the zeitgeist: there are psychedelic elements, echoes of garage rock and even harmonies from the 60s.
