What is dance?
Dance is movement in space.
We all share this space.
How do we shape the space between us?
How do we move toward or away from each other?
We fill the space together with our movements—until we dance.
Hans Igel—Verein für Inklusion und Theater e.V. invites anyone interested to give it a try. No dance experience is necessary. This workshop is aimed at people with very different bodies and abilities, with and without disabilities.
The workshop is led by Odile Seitz-Walser, a trained dancer, naturopath for craniosacral therapy, BMC® practitioner, and BMC® teacher at the School for Body-Mind Centering® in France and Germany.
BMC® is a method based on the connections and interactions between the body and mind/consciousness. The human being is perceived holistically, i.e., not only as a body but also with feelings and relationships. With BMC®, different systems and aspects of the body can be explored in a targeted manner. For example, breathing: how it works and how it feels. This allows you to perceive and express your own inner self in a new way.
