Laura Heinecke's new production is about nothing less than the truth. Is there a universal truth that we can all share? Or is truth not rather an individual, subjective good? To what part is it made by ourselves, by our thoughts and actions? And is not the search for truth profoundly political? How do we succeed in allowing different truths to coexist? Do we find the truth in a "staying true to oneself", as spiritual gurus of our time claim, or does it not require constant negotiation among ourselves in our being together?
Laura Heinecke has gathered a team of dancers, lighting designers, video and stage designers, writers and dramaturges around her, who, with their eyes wide open, engage in a battle that is virtually impossible to win. It is precisely at the points of friction, the flaws of the unspeakable, in getting lost, not least in the physical, that doors open up, with new perspectives.
Because of the current precautions, the number of seats is greatly reduced. In order to guarantee the distance gap in the theatre, we ask you to book only one order per household. If there are two or more households, please make separate bookings.
