The dynamics of the workshop with Gabriel Nieto are based on the investigation of movements of different cultures of the world, which are annexed in their Latin American roots. For centuries, all the anecdotes and history that has passed of all the types of migrations that reached the American continent, are parts of many movement of dance in our time now.

Gabriel is a researcher of movement. In his classes he works with different aspects in physical, expressionist, sound and verbal mobility. The warm-up starts with N.O.T.S. movement. With tools that could be useful for any moment in both personal and artistic life, Gabriel focuses on feeling the connection between the human being and mother earth bound by a unique and spiritual relationship.

Gabriel Nieto is a Venezuelan artist residing in New York City. He is an experimental movement investigator, writer, teacher, performer, choreographer and the creator of the Platform Nomads of the South (N.O.T.S. / Movement Identity) in the American Continent, and co-director of the International Online/Presencial Platform VEM (Ventana De Encuentro Para El Movimiento).

The workshop is in english.
The class is adapted both for artists of all performance fields and for people not involved in the arts but interested in movement.
