As part of the Living Borders project, Peter Pleyer invites participants to a Slow Motion Rave. For one hour, they move as slowly as possible to music and a given score.
It begins with lying relaxed on the floor, in rhythm with the breath. The movement starts continuously, in slow motion. Once it has begun, it flows without interruption—towards the floor and back out again. Shifts in weight create a slow journey through space. Spirals and twists in the spine and throughout the body accompany the movement—deliberately slow. Just how slow can slow be?
