Tango in three-four time. In principle, everything can be danced just as in ‘normal tango’. What matters is the sense of rhythm. Unexpected movements require good contact. The vals is more versatile than we might realise, given our European musical habits. Broaden your approach to the vals, and new possibilities in dance will open up.
