Observation! We live in a fast-paced world. Many things happen simultaneously. We often react before we observe. What do we actually observe? What do we hear? How do we perceive each other? We want to observe, remember, tell stories, listen, move. With our bodies, sound and images, we explore what we encounter in everyday life – and what is often overlooked.

Body & Mindfulness
In this workshop, we ask ourselves the following questions: What changes when we slow down and become more attentive? How do we perceive ourselves and our surroundings? We explore this through various playful exercises – alone, in pairs and in groups. We move around the room and outside, with our eyes open and closed. We put what we perceive onto paper. This gives rise to thoughts and images that turn into stories.

Body & Memory
‘The most beautiful thing next to silence.’
Music is the door to our memories and a universal language. Sound brings personal stories from everyday life and the past to life. Translated into music, observation means listening. In this workshop, we want to practise listening to each other. In a cosy atmosphere with coffee and tea, we want to share what moves us. Bring your music and the memories associated with it: on records and CDs for nostalgia and on your mobile phone for the present! Record and CD players, computers and even instruments are available to listen to your music, present it or even play it together.

Listening & Looking
This workshop also focuses on observation. Please bring recordings, photos, videos, records, CDs, etc. from the past. We observe the synesthesia that arises between hearing and seeing. After a short warm-up, we walk through Schlaatz, listen, record, let impressions sink in, and slow down. Afterwards, we dive into our personal archives and question them. What do we remember, what surprises us, what could be perceived differently?
