This workshop blends modern and contemporary dance, focusing on the Weissmann technique's holistic approach to the mind/body connection and structured technical movement. Participants will enhance their mobility, strength, and musicality through improvisation and exercises while discovering their body's expressive potential in dance. Heidi Weiss, a dancer and educator with training from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, co-created the Weissmann technique and leads a Berlin-based Teacher Training programme. Her work often explores themes such as aging in dance.
