The fabrik Potsdam is awarding studio residencies at the Rechenzentrum Potsdam for artistic research and/or production processes in the field of contemporary dance, performance and movement art for the period 15 June to 31 October 2021.
As an international centre for dance and movement art, the fabrik Potsdam is the central location for the production, presentation and mediation of contemporary dance in Brandenburg. As a house for professional dancers as well as an institution for all those who want to see, understand and experience dance, the fabrik Potsdam is committed to the visibility, experience and development of the diverse contemporary forms of dance, movement art, performance and choreography.
Artists and dance makers from the Potsdam and Brandenburg scene are invited.
We offer a working space in a centrally located place of artistic and (socio)cultural production and encounter with the possibility of networking with other cultural actors.
Within the framework of the call for applications, we offer:
- A dance studio (60 sqm) in the computer centre.
- Networking with the local scene
- The opportunity to present work in an informal setting
Application with the following information:
- Concept of the artistic project (max. 1 DIN A4 page)
- Short biography(s) and possibly links to previous artistic works
- desired/possible residency periods
