The world of flora and fauna in Karkerou is fascinating and mysterious. Here, animals and plants create their own world and adapt to their surroundings. They communicate with one another – even if we humans can only guess at what they are saying to each other. Together with two dancers, the audience embarks on a dynamic journey of discovery. What creatures will they encounter? Are they shy or curious?
Dance, music, and sounds create a vibrant soundscape full of surprises. The audience sits very close to the action and can change seats at certain points to experience the performance from a new perspective time and again. Karkerou invites children and adults alike to marvel and observe together, and to immerse themselves in an unknown world with all their senses. Sometimes it takes courage, sometimes patience – and sometimes it’s enough simply to be curious.
