On 30 May 2026, Schiffbauergasse invites you to the Long Night of the Arts.
All participating organisations will open their doors, bringing this cultural hub to life as a venue showcasing current artistic perspectives and forms of expression. The evening brings together diverse perspectives from the worlds of contemporary art, dance, performance and music.
At Kunstraum Potsdam, the ‘Salon der Gegenwart’ will showcase current visual artworks by more than 100 female artists. As part of the Potsdamer Tanztage festival, fabrik Potsdam will present two dance pieces from Montréal and Tel Aviv, followed by an opportunity for discussion and interaction between the artists and the audience. The museumFLUXUS+ opens up new approaches to Fluxus, media art and contemporary art, linking historical positions with current artistic works. At the Schirrhof and in the fabrikgarten, dance performances, live music and DJ culture come together in the open air, extending the artistic formats into the outdoor space.
On this evening, the Long Night of the Arts showcases Schiffbauergasse as a hub for contemporary arts – a network of venues and practitioners bringing together diverse artistic languages, working methods, and local and international perspectives.
