How do you say goodbye to your homeland? How do you carry memories forward without being overwhelmed by them? One Strike Salvation is an intense duet that physically explores these questions – through movement, rhythm, and ritual gestures.
Stones, songs, flags and dance… Yotam Peled and Moshe Nitzan move between past and present, between personal memory and collective history. They draw on traditions of commemorations and independence ceremonies – and deconstruct them layer by layer. At the heart of the piece is a radical coexistence of grief and joy, intertwining, occupying space together. The repetitive choreography becomes a ritual of transformation—a constant interplay between resistance and surrender, in which rhythm becomes a common language.
