All’arme

Power is not only revealed in words, but also in gestures, movements, and collective formations. All'arme skilfully explores the fine line between protection and aggression, strength and vulnerability.  

Dark clothing, strict steps – six women move synchronised across the stage. After Harleking and ARA! ARA!, Panzetti and Ticconi continue their exploration of the representation of power. Instead of calling for a fight, All'arme ("to the weapons") exposes the double-edged nature of demonstrations of power. When does the search for collective protection become a violation, and when does fear turn into aggression? The piece masterfully walks the fine line between group and individual, empowerment and oppression – and at the same time illuminates the disarming humanity of weakness.
