WUW stands for wind and wall, two metaphors for a dance piece about the transition to puberty. No longer a child and not yet an adolescent – this time is both a formative and challenging phase.
The dancer begins solo, later joined by a partner – separated and connected by a mobile wall. This movable barrier becomes an expression of her struggles with a complex world of emotions and the gap that can come between her own ideas and reality. The wind, on the other hand, is unpredictable: at times a gentle breeze, at times a violent storm, its changing nature resembles the emotional dynamics at the beginning of puberty. WUW is a playful journey full of surprises, adventures, and unexpected changes – a play about creative ways to overcome walls.
Afterwards on each day: Workshop and talk for the whole family
