Tuning

Vanessa Goodman / Action at a distance (Vancouver)

15 – 16 May 2025 | Potsdamer Tanztage 2025Dance / performance

Tuning invites the audience into a sensitive atmospheric environment. The performers weave their voices into a carpet of sound that accompanies their choreography and amplifies the silent conversations of the body.

With trust and attentiveness, the dancers engage in a fluid shift between togetherness and individuality in a dance characterised by slowness and grace. The calming atmosphere sharpens the senses and opens the imagination – an inner journey that is carried by each meticulously coordinated gesture of the dancers. With Tuning, Canadian choreographer Vanessa Goodman continues her search for a physical, visual, and sonic space of intimacy – creating a subtle work that seems to reveal the language of the soul through voice and body.

Afterwards on Thursday 15 May: Talk with the artists
