‘I am fascinated by the fact that things can have a different effect on everyone than they appear at first glance.
But first of all, it is what it is. A leaf is a leaf is a leaf.
But depending on what we associate with colour, form, materiality, what we link to it in our memory, a new image, a feeling, a moment emerges when we look at it. And even the moment of contemplation is fleeting.
That's why I don't give my pictures titles.
I want to give you space for your own thoughts, for your own names when you look at them.
My works are created without an intention and are always surprising, even for me.
I hope you enjoy looking at, discovering and feeling them.’
