The piece opens with Imogen Huzel setting up her installation. She introduces herself and performs acrobatic figures, explaining the different styles of circus art. She divides the performance into several acts. While the acrobat is talking about training, the circus world, and her collaboration with Ofir Yudilevitch, the audience watches a conversation with her older self, like a miniature circus performance. In the final act, Imogen dances on her hands. The dichotomy of success and failure is melted away into a more forgiving and joyous approach of being upside down, in which falling is not the end.
Afterwards on Fri 15 Sep: Talk with the artists
