In january 2020 this class is taking a break. We dance again on february 3rd!
Teaching is an invitation to body and soul, through African and folk dances of the Black Diaspora, to get to know the diversity and richness of dance on the African continent. We start with a warm-up technique based on the technique of Germaine Acogny's modern African dance and then immerse ourselves in traditional rhythms and movements from Brazil, Togo, Benin, Mali, and Senegal. Classes are an invitation to all who want to develop rhythm alive and creative while maintaining contact with the rich African culture.
