La Desnudez

Daniel Abreu (Madrid)

05 – 07 Aug 2020 | Potsdamer Tanztage 2020Dance / performance

The darkness seems to embrace two people. Wooden sticks hold a body in fetters and a broken piano remains as a relic of a relationship. The end and beginning of a relationship is told powerfully and relentlessly. They dance themselves free from the heaviness of death to the lightness of a flirt, as the choreography changes between exposure and covering, harmony and confrontation. Flowing movements collide, twist, and wrestle. La Desnudez (The Nudity) is an act of transience - everything is exhaled to start something new.

Note: The performance will also be broadcast live on screen at fabrik Garten. Free admission.
